Illustration for beloved Chicago neighbourood Andersonville, and their 2024 neighbourhood guide. The feature focusses on local drag queens, and the guide is available to pick up in all the stres in Andersonville!
Commissioned by the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce.
Here’s more on the piece:
The Illustration features some drag acts I saw in Andersonville that made me fall in love with drag all over again. From Rah Rah Girl's (top) mix of the familiar and the obtuse, Valentine 'La Sirena' Addams' (middle) seductive excellence, to Nico's (bottom) high energy performances that make use of every single surface in the venue, their looks and performances are always a joy to behold. The neighbourhood feels safe with our superheroes. Grab a drink, keep your tips ready and prepare to have a blast!
